Jaiswal got out for a duck in the last game but made a good start to his innings. After a few boundaries at the start, he didn’t get much of the strike but made sure he stuck at the crease and then scored some crucial boundaries to hit another half-century. He played second-fiddle to Devdutt Padikkal, who scored a 29-ball fifty and set the stage for Shimron Hetmyer and Dhurv Jurel to finish off the game, which they did in the last over.
The Royals would have liked to chase it down one over before but they will take the win, nevertheless after what has been a disappointing second half.
