Samsung has launched a new colour variant of Galaxy S23 smartphone in India. The handset was launched earlier this year alongside Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The handset was launched in four colour options — Cream, Phantom Black, Green and Lavender. Starting May 16, buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone in a new Lime colour as well.
Samsung Galaxy S23: Price and offers
With a new Lime colour, Samsung has also announced a couple of new offers for buyers. The Lime colour variant is priced similar to other colours and the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 74,999 and the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 79,999.
The company is offering buyers to purchase the smartphone at a 24 month no-cost EMI of Rs 3,125 per month via HDFC credit card or Bajaj Finserv.
Buyers can club Rs 8,000 upgrade bonus with 24-month no-cost EMI to make the phone more affordable. Consumers also have the option to club Rs 8000 upgrade bonus with Rs 5000 bank cashback on their purchase, which brings the net effective price of Galaxy S23 8/128GB and 8/256GB to Rs 61,999 and Rs 66,999, respectively. Consumers can also opt for 9 months no-cost EMI on HDFC can also be included with this offer.
Samsung Galaxy S23: Specifications
Apart from the new colour, nothing has changed in terms of internals and features. The Galaxy S23 features a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with HDR support. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
In terms of camera, the handset features a triple rear camera of 50MP + 12MP + 10MP. The phone also offers 3X optical zoom and up to 30x hybrid zoom. Other features include Super HDR technology, Slow motion video recording. The phone has an all-new 12MP dual pixel sensor at the front.
Samsung Galaxy S23 is backed by a 3900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The phone runs One UI 5.1 custom user interface based on Android 13 operating system. Apart from that, Samsung has claimed that the phone will receive four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
