    Comedian and TV host Subi Suresh passes away at the age of 41


    Comedian and TV host Subi Suresh has passed away at the age of 41. The comedian and TV host was reportedly suffering from a liver-related ailment. She breathed her last at a private hospital in Kochi this morning (February 22).
    Subi Suresh started her career as a mimicry artist. However, she became a household name after her entry in the evergreen comedy show, ‘Cinemala’. Her hilarious avatars in the show are still loved by viewers. Gaining popularity from the sensational show, Subi got a handful of characters in Malayalam movies too. She was seen playing comic roles in ‘Happy Husbands’, ‘Kankanasimhasanam’ and more.

    After ‘Cinemala’, in the TV space, she gained attention with the kids’ show, ‘Kutty Pattalam’. Her funny interactions with the kids were much loved by viewers.

    After the show, she was also seen in ‘Kutty Kalavara’, a special cookery show. In 2018, she made a comeback to Malayalam TV, with the show, ‘Labour Room’.

    In 2021, Subi gained laurels for her befitting reply to a netizen who made sleazy comments about her dressing style.
    “I am fed up with such moral policing, Uncles. Thinking he was trying to be famous,” she shared the post with her signature humour,” her hilarious reply gained much praise then.

    Subi Suresh’s unfortunate demise has left the whole entertainment industry in deep agony.
