Toyota launched their all-new Innova Hycross MPV in India. The MPV has already started reaching dealerships across the country and deliveries for the same have also started. The Toyota Innova Hycross is available in G, GX, VX and ZX variants. The price for Toyota Innova Hycross starts at Rs 18.30 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 28.97 lakh, ex-showroom. The video has been uploaded by Learner Dot Com on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger compares the top-end ZX variant of Innova Hycross with lower GX variant. He starts with the exterior of the cars. The top-end ZX variant gets all LED headlamps, dual-function LED DRLs on the bumper, 360 degree camera, front parking sensors and fog lamps. This version also gets 18 inch chrome alloy finished alloy wheels, chrome door handles, lower window chrome, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, puddle lamps, roof mounted spoiler, chrome applique of the tailgate, electrically opening tailgate, and variant badging.
The VX variant also gets LED headlamps but, it misses on the LED DRLs, fog lamps and it also comes with 360 degree camera. The VX variant gets 17 inch alloy wheels and the wheel arch cladding is finished in body colour. The MPV gets rear wiper, defogger, chrome applique, variant badge, roof-mounted spoiler like the higher variant. In the GX variant, all chrome elements have been replaced with black plastic panels. The headlamps are halogen and the car also misses on the 360 degree camera feature. The alloy wheels are still there but it is 16 inch in size. The ORVMs in this variant are also adjustable electrically. The rear windscreen does get wiper but it misses the defogger.
Moving in, the ZX variant of the Innova Hycross gets a 10.1 inch floating type touchscreen infotainment screen from JBL with a 9-speaker audio system. The interior is finished in Deep brown shade with black plastic panels at places. The ZX and VX variant are available with strong hybrid system and the GX is available with petrol only. Only the ZX variant gets ADAS features. The car also offers ventilated seats, electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, dual-zone climate control and so on.
When it comes to VX variant, the seat covers are fabric and it is in the same shade as the leather upholstery in higher ZX trim. The car does offer 360 degree camera but, there is no ADAS function. The touchscreen infotainment on this variant is an 8 inch unit and it is available with 6 speakers. The steering-mounted controls, cruise control and semi-digital instrument cluster and other features. Only the higher model of Innova Hycross comes with panoramic sunroof. Automatic climate control is available with VX variant too. The GX variant is available with back coloured interior with hard plastic everywhere. The car however does get electric parking brake, touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC and other basic features.The strong hybrid version of the Innova Hycross is available with e-CVT gearbox and the petrol version gets a CVT gearbox as standard.
