John Abraham peaked with his antagonist role in Pathaan but couldn’t keep the buzz alive for long. His last release Vedaa showcased John in his iconic action-packed avatar but still the film went flat.
Now he is returning to the big screens with The Diplomat which is not even an action film. He utilises a demure diplomat avatar for this film and fans can expect that it will be a highly performance oriented role.

Film pundits have declared that the film would struggle to make even 3 crore openings despite Holi holidays and would be one of the biggest disasters of the year. But some netizens are pointing out that the early reviews have been positive.
