Haneef Adeni’s Marco has pushed the boundaries of violence in Indian cinema, making it possibly the most violent film to be ever made in India. The film is said to be so gruesome that some viewers even threw up in the theatres.
Malayalam’s most violent film Marco has sent chills down the spine with its gory visuals and extreme violence. The film, headlined by Unni Mukundhan, emerged as a massive blockbuster, and to date, it has collected over Rs. 115 crores gross.

Marco is the first A-rated Malayalam film to cross the Rs.100 crores benchmark.
A few weeks ago, rumours had spread about Netflix acquiring the OTT rights for the film. However, the makers dismissed those speculations.

According to the latest update, Sony LIV has paid a hefty sum for the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film.
It is said that Marco’s OTT deal is the highest ever in Mollywood.

While the platform is revealed, there is no news of the OTT streaming date of the film yet.
As Marco’s Kannada release is around the corner, there might be a delay in its digital release.
Produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner, Marco also features Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Tareja in key roles. Ravi Basrur composed the music.
For viewers who loved the gruesome themes and violence, a sequel to the film is in the making and the project is now in the scripting stage.
