R. Madhavan’s thriller film Hisaab Barabar is arriving on Zee5 on January 24, 2025. While the audiences are eagerly waiting to watch it at their home, the early reactions from various outlets are trending now.
Notably, the film has not received a positive response overall. While most of them have praised the performances, they are not so impressed with the execution of a good storyline which could have kept the audiences engaged to their seats.

A few others have called it silly with another stating that the film does not entertain or educate in any manner. One of the reviews called it a waste of a premise that had a lot of potential to turn out as an entertaining thriller.
Another review stated that even flawless performances of the lead cast members cannot save the film. A reaction mentioned that although the intention was to make a satire, the efforts were wasted specifically because of the bad screenplay.

The reviews have proved that Hisaab Barabar might not be remembered as one of the best films to arrive on OTT. Fans of R. Madhavan might decide to watch it for one time but it seems like the storyline might disappoint them.
However, things might turn out to be something else since there have been films that received negative reviews from critics but the audiences loved it in the end. Hisaab Barabar is still expected to bring a good amount of viewership for Zee5.
