Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s tour of Davos is on. He has met up with Wipro executive chairman Rishad Premji.
CM and IT minister Sridhar Babu explained in detail about the infrastructure available for industries and large organisations.

Following their dialogue, Wipro showed its agreement to open its new centre in Gopanapally. Wipro has said it would complete the new centre in 3 years.
The latest investment will provide employment opportunities for 5000 people.

Revanth Reddy and his team have been promoting Telangana as a hub for business. Last year, Revanth Reddy secured Rs 40,000 crore investments. Eighteen projects were okayed through MoUs with 14 companies. Currently 17 are in progress, while one project of Adani pump storage project is pending.
This year, Revanth Reddy is at Davos with an aim of getting Rs 1 lakh crore investments. The Telangana CM has made it clear that he does not compete with Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka or Maharashtra. His main competition is with global cities like New York, Tokyo and London among others.

Revanth maintains Hyderabad remains a proven environment for business. It is centrally located with connectivity and excels in IT, pharma and AI sectors. He adds the policies and ecosystem are developed to foster business growth.
