First it was daughter Kalkuntla Kavita who had to face investigation and subsequent jail in the liquor scam. Then, it was the turn of his son KTR, who is under probe in E-Racing case.
Now, looks like it’s the turn of former CM and BRS founder KCR to face the law. The committee enquiring the Kaleswaram scam is said to be eyeing KCR for his role in the issue.

Prior to this, the committee had probed the then finance minister and current BJP member Etala Rajender and water resources minister Harish Rao.
The committee intends to submit its final report by the end of February. However, after its investigation with various stakeholders, the committee is now preparing to question KCR in the matter.

Due to this, the committee now says it will file its final report by end of March. It also intends to enquire the companies involved in the project and other officials.
With various officials naming KCR for giving orders, the committee on Polavaram is prepared to call KCR for probe.

This has created high tension in BRS circles and become a cause of concern for KCR, who has restricted himself to his farmhouse.
