Silliest Explanations for Game Changer Bombing

Silliest Explanations for Game Changer Bombing

The fears have come true, as Global Star Ram Charan’s Game Changer has become the biggest pan-India disaster, marking the first major failure for the Telugu industry in the pan-India films segment. Until now, Telugu cinema had no failures in this pan India category, but Game Changer has unfortunately taken that spot.

Now, a section of fans has started spreading a narrative that Game Changer failed because the hero and the story respect the system, align with social responsibility, and convey a meaningful message to society. They argue that the film does not have double meaning dialogues, item songs, sadistic scenes, or a gangster protagonist, indirectly targeting Pushpa and Allu Arjun’s role in it. Several other flimsy justifications, such as these, are being shared via WhatsApp groups.

However, one must understand that the common audience doesn’t harbor such biases against Ram Charan or Allu Arjun. Ultimately, viewers decide based on whether the film is engaging or entertaining—not on whether the hero plays an IAS officer or a gangster. These excuses to justify Game Changer’s failure are some of the silly justification seen so far.

Even within Game Changer, Ram Charan takes on multiple roles, but the story comes across as highly illogical. An angry man becomes an IAS officer, gets proposed as the chief minister, starts a political party, and becomes its president, it’s like all in one package in one film. If one looks at the plot critically, it sounds far-fetched and unconvincing.

In the end, regular audiences don’t care about comparisons like IAS officer vs. gangster or Ram Charan vs. Allu Arjun. It all boils down to the content. When the content fails to appeal, the result is bound to mirror what happened with Game Changer.
