Uma Geddam is known to many who follow social media. She is currently a member of AP State Commission for Women.
In the past, she was a staunch crusader against Chandrababu Naidu. At the time, posing as a student, she spit venom against Babu and his leaders in TDP between 2014-2019.

Later, when Jagan came to power, it emerged that Uma Geddam was actually a member of YSRCP’s social media wing. She continued her hate campaign against Babu and TDP. Jagan even made her a member of state commission for women.
Recently, she had tweeted to the CM, dyCMO and Nara Lokesh about an infant from Vizianagaram who was suffering from Laryngomalacia. She asked for help as the child’s parents could not afford Rs 10,00,000 needed for the treatment.

To great surprise of one and all, Nara Lokesh tweeted the reply – “Noted @iamumma garu. We will ensure the child receives best possible care.”

This clearly shows the large-heartedness of Nara Lokesh, who set aside his ego to come to the aid of a little boy. He showed that helping a fellow human was above political vengeance.
Prior to 2024 elections, Jagan claimed, ‘kulam choodam, matam choodam, party choodam’. But Lokesh proved it in true spirit by working beyond party affiliations.
