And then, TDP is offering Five Lakh Rupees of Life Insurance for all its memberships. In a way, TDP will become a part of the lives of the people with this assurance.
Insurance is a myth in a country like India. Insurance penetration in India was 3.7% in 2023-24, down from 4.2% in 2021-22.
This insurance for just 100 Rupees Membership will be a boon for those who use it.
It is also an assurance for the people who hold it. That way, TDP gets a place in the lives of the people.
This is a kind of winning the faith of the people slowly and gradually.
In the last five years, the cadre was helped to the tune of 135 Crores.
Yes, people appreciating the governance is of paramount importance. But that does not take away anything from this Record Membership drive.
Incidentally, YSR Congress never thought of doing something to its cadres. The party could not even dare to begin the membership enrollment after the elections.
