NEW DELHI: The Congress party on Thursday unveiled its key promises for Delhi, pledging affordable cooking gas, free electricity, and ration kits as part of its campaign ahead of the Delhi elections.
During a press conference, the Congress introduced two major schemes: the Inflation Relief Scheme and the Free Electricity Scheme. Under the Inflation Relief Scheme, the party promised LPG cylinders at RS 500 and free ration kits for families.

The Free Electricity Scheme, on the other hand, will offer 300 units of electricity free of charge to households.
Sharing its commitments on X, the Congress stated: “Congress’s guarantee for Delhi. Inflation Relief Scheme. Gas cylinder for Rs 500• Ration kit free. Free Electricity Scheme. 300 units of electricity free every need will be fulfilled. Congress is necessary.”
Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy was present during the press conference where the announcement was made.
