A viral video from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, has sparked widespread attention, showing a woman, Priyanshi Pandey, physically attacking an auto driver, Vimlesh Kumar Shukla, following a heated argument over fare payment.
The incident, recorded and later uploaded by Ms. Pandey, has prompted a police investigation after both parties presented conflicting accounts of the event.

The video depicts Ms. Pandey attempting to drag Mr. Shukla from his seat while verbally abusing him. Despite his visible pleas, she continues to assault him.
According to Mr. Shukla, the altercation began when he asked Ms. Pandey and her companion to pay the fare to which they refused, stating they are students. When Shukla pushed further the two resorted to physical confrontation.

“They defamed me by making the video viral. I am deeply humiliated and demand justice,” said Mr. Shukla, adding that he suffered injuries and emotional distress.
Ms. Pandey, who has over 28,000 Instagram followers, alleged in a video statement that Mr. Shukla used inappropriate language, prompting her response.

She also claimed she has been receiving threatening calls since the video gained traction online.
The Mirzapur police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to verify the claims. The incident has sparked discussions online, with opinions divided over the actions of both individuals.

Others are taking it up a notch, pointing out the fake feminism that empowers women to be so radical and abusive of their status.
