She expressed her dejection by stating, “I felt that it was a wrong decision to release it in theatres. I thought I could have gotten a better deal on OTT…
…I also wouldn’t have had to go through censorship then and my film wouldn’t have been dissected.”
Social media has shown mixed reactions on this issue, with some praising Kangana for admitting to her mistakes, and others taking a jibe at her.
One user said, “At least Kangana is brave enough to admit her mistakes. Not many filmmakers do that.”
Another commented, “So now the film’s failure is the fault of censorship and the CBFC? Classic Kangana!”
With the film being given the green light by the CBFC after an extensive dissection, the public will finally get to see the film as it gears up for release on January 17th, 2025.
