A stampede in Tirumala killed at least six persons and several others were hospitalized. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be visiting Tirupati and will meet the victims and their families.
YSR Congress and its affiliated media have pounced on the issue. Leaving the Opposition aside, it is a big disappointment even for those supporting the Government because six precious lives were lost and the lapses in the crowd management are undeniable.

The Opposition will be clearly after TTD Chairman, BR Naidu.
He is always a target because he is the Chairman of TV5, the Channel Jagan considers as his big rival.

This incident further created an opportunity for them.
BR Naidu is trying to make some positive changes in the TTD and its administration. Some of the changes he brought are being lauded by the devotees.

Even those critical of him were silent because of the good work he did so far. But they got their chance now.
This incident happening at the very start of his tenure will be a big disappointment for him.
The Chief Minister will be in Tirupati tomorrow and some action should be taken beyond just announcing an ex-gratia to the victims. Only then, there will be accountability in the system.
