Back in the day, the superstars of Tollywood had this rich tradition where they used to actively post on social media about other hero films. The likes of Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and others used to share positive reviews of other films as a token of encouragement.
However, this tradition is depleting quickly in Tollywood now. In the case of recent releases, Devara and Pushpa 2, we did not see any superstars tweeting about these films on social media.

Now the stage is set for the release of Game Changer on January 10. This is the next superstar film after Pushpa 2.
Considering the ongoing trend in Tollywood, where stars are conveniently skipping the prospect of posting positively about other hero films, it has to be seen what they will do with Charan’s film now.

The old tradition, where stars used to happily tweet about other films and speak highly of each other, had a harmonious essence. But this is clearly lacking now as the elite stars appear to be done with this tradition.
Despite the insane box office run of the second part of Pushpa, not a single star tweeted about this film. Same happened with Devara earlier as well. As it appears, even Ram Charan’s film could go this way.

The fact that stars used To actively tweet in appreciation of other hero films was good to watch as it presented a sense of togetherness amongst Tollywood fandoms at least briefly. It is sad that this rich tradition is drawing to a close now.
Even the usual suspects, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun have slowed down on this front now.
