Telangana experienced a warmer morning on Monday, with the State’s minimum temperature showing a slight rise compared to Sunday. Data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) that Kohir in Sangareddy district recorded the lowest temperature on Monday at 8.1°C, up from 5.9°C recorded in Bheempoor, Adilabad district, on Sunday. The highest minimum temperature recorded on Monday was 14.9 in Nuthankal of Suryapet district.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), mist or hazy conditions are likely to persist during the morning hours in isolated areas of Telangana over the next five days. The IMD bulletin issued on Monday forecast that minimum temperatures would remain normal for the next three days but might dip below normal by 2°C to 3°C in the subsequent two days.
TGDPS data revealed that nine out of the 33 districts in Telangana recorded temperatures below 10°C, including Kohir. Sirpur in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad and Bheempoor in Adilabad recorded 8.9°C, while Dharur in Vikarabad and Rajpur in Mahabubnagar registered 9.7°C. Pembi in Nirmal recorded 9.9°C.
In Hyderabad, the lowest temperature of 13.3°C was recorded in Marredpally.
