The year started with Guntur Kaaram. Though this album did not open with a unanimously positive response at first, it turned out to be a sensation after the OTT release. The Mawa Enthaina and Kurchi Madathapetti were a rage.
This was followed by Kalki, which had little musical impact. The Theme Of Kalki music caught the attention on Instagram reels but it couldn’t necessarily set the playlists on fire.

Then we have Devara which had Anirudh’s music. The Fear Song and Chuttamalle were the standout singles. Ayudha Pooja was also briefly ruling the charts though.
The year ended with Pushpa 2 which had a decent enough album. But unlike the first part’s songs, which caught on after the OTT release, the sequel’s songs could not catch on at quite the same pace after the release. Nevertheless, Sooseki had a decent enough value while Peelings catered to the masses.

Essentially, the musical fight this year could be between Chuttamalle, Mawa Enthaina, Kurchi Madathapetti, and Sooseki. Going by the consensus on social media, it has to be either Chuttamalle or Mawa Enthaina.
The writer’s choice here would be Chuttamalle. Let us know in the comments if you have a favorite of your own.
