Santhosh Narayanan’s background composition has been loved in the South Indian film industry. Although many believe his full potential as a music composer has not yet been reached in spite of his work on kalki 2898AD.
Powerful BGM is the forte of South Indian composers but understanding of Hindi lyrics and tune is not best aligned with them. Following the ideal combination of Bollywood music directors and South Indian BGM composers Santhosh has been signed to give background score in Salman Khan’s Sikandar.

As fans have a complaint that South composers are not able to fit well with the demands of Bollywood songs Pritam is signed for its music album composition. A slightly opposite thing happened with Anirudh’s music in Atlee’s Jawan.
All the tracks were not as great as Chaleya and fans feel that it was SRK’s appeal that made the overall music hit amongst fans. However, fans had no doubt that Anirudh’s background score was phenomenal.

The makers of Sikandar have been careful to not repeat the same mistake. The Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty and Sathyaraj starrer is directed by legendary AR Murugadoss.
It has been decided that the background score will be given by Santhosh and tracks will be composed by Pritam. Fans feel that this strategy can work wonders for Sikandar.
