Amaravati was left in ruins over the last five years under the YCP rule. When the NDA came back to power earlier this year, the government began taking steps to restore its glory by reaffirming the city as the state capital.
However, a few evil forces are still trying to obstruct the construction of Amaravati. A section of people is conspiring to stop the capital city’s development in various ways.

It is already known that the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank have come forward to lend Rs. 15,000 crore for the construction of Amaravati.
Recently, an anonymous complaint was filed with the World Bank stating that the lands were illegally grabbed from farmers for Amaravati. It was alleged that farmers were threatened and their signatures were forcibly taken.

The complaint further stated that due to this land acquisition, many people lost their sources of income, creating food security problems and potentially leading to social and financial troubles in the future.
Between 2014 and 2019, the YCP and its affiliated teams spread similar negative propaganda about Amaravati. When the World Bank and AIIB came forward to lend Rs. 3,000 crore at that time, these groups bombarded the World Bank with complaint letters.

At that time, the World Bank also formed a team to investigate the issue. Upon investigation, the team confirmed that there were no legal violations and that farmers gave their lands voluntarily.
After coming to power, the Jagan government refused to take the loan. Now, as the current government has secured loan approval again, conspiracies are being made to obstruct the city’s construction.
