Megastar Chiranjeevi faced a major disaster with Bhola Shankar. To overcome its aftermath, he is now focusing on Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vashisht.
At the same time, Chiranjeevi is also giving opportunities to young directors. He is set to collaborate with Dasara director Srikanth Odela for an upcoming film. Nani will produce the movie, with Sudhakar Cherukuri reportedly being the main producer.

The film is expected to be in the raw, intense style of Dasara, featuring a lot of violence and bloodshed. Mega fans were ecstatic after the announcement and celebrated it. They felt that Chiranjeevi had finally signed a film that suits his stature and age, believing this project could become a comeback akin to Kamal Haasan’s Vikram.
Now, according to some reports, Chiranjeevi will not have a regular heroine opposite him in this movie. In fact, there will be no songs or dance numbers featuring Chiranjeevi.

This approach has sparked speculation that it may not appeal to Chiranjeevi’s hardcore mass fanbase, who typically look forward to his strong on-screen pairings with beautiful heroines and energetic dance sequences.
While social media might hype this combo of Chiranjeevi and Srikanth Odela but is Srikanth really capable of handling someone as big as Megastar? Social media fans might be happy with the announcement of this film but what about fans on the ground level, is what people are speculating.

Recently, Chiranjeevi attempted a similar film, Godfather, where he didn’t have a heroine or typical mass elements. It bombed badly. Despite featuring Salman Khan’s cameo who tried to elevate Megastar’s character, the impact was not memorable.
Even in the past, whenever Chiru tried offbeat films, he has mostly faced failures, such as in Chantabbai, Rudraveena, and Aapadbandhavudu.
Srikanth Odela must design an extremely engaging story and screenplay to do justice to Chiranjeevi’s image and also satisfy his core fanbase.
Definitely, it’s an exciting film to watch out for!
