Kabir Khan has been struggling to deliver a hit or blockbuster after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Despite being critically acclaimed, none of his last few films have managed to recover their respective budgets.
As per the latest update, the director has now joined Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions to bounce back for an action-thriller.

Meanwhile, Kabir is currently looking for a face that can perfectly fit the lead character and he is considering Salman Khan or Vicky Kaushal. The film is already in pre-production.
Another insider claimed that Karan and Kabir had already approached Salman and Vicky to get their dates, who have also expressed interest in being a part of the project. Furthermore, they are yet to hear the final draft.

Kabir’s return to the action genre might help him get established in the way people used to know him in the past.
Moreover, he has utilized Salman’s potential in Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the past, which means that the superstar could be presented in a different form that will undoubtedly leave an impression on his fans.

In case Vicky is chosen for the role, it will be a great experience to watch him again performing action sequences on screen considering his work in films such as Uri.
Kabir’s track record has been good except that audiences lost interest in his films after the failure of Tubelight. It seems like people want him to return to the genre where he is an expert.
Kabir has never compromised when it comes to action and his collaboration with Salman Khan and Karan Johar is expected to bring a blockbuster to their respective credits.
