Since losing power in the state, BRS leaders have restarted the Telangana sentiment movement and are trying to gain people’s support with separate statehood statements and division politics.
In the last year, we have seen many instances where BRS leaders like KT Rama Rao or Harish Rao bring up the regional factor to defend the party or their leader, KCR.

Now, their leaders are taking this regional factor to a spiritual place like Tirumala too. Earlier today, former BRS Minister Srinivas Goud visited the Tirumala temple.
After darshan, he spoke to the media and alleged that TTD is showing bias between the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

He asserted that everyone is equal before God and that no partiality should be shown. He claimed TTD is neglecting Telangana people and refusing to accept the recommendation/reference letters from Telangana leaders.

He went on to allege that people from Andhra Pradesh are receiving benefits in Telangana through their businesses and political influence.
He warned that continued disparity could lead to serious conflicts between Telangana and Andhra people in the future.
Srinivas Goud urged the Andhra Pradesh government to restructure the facilities provided to Telangana leaders. He also suggested that Telangana people would receive justice if TTD Chairman BR Naidu were given full responsibility.
Meanwhile, BRS working president KTR also requested the TTD chairman to consider letters from Telangana leaders.
On the other hand, many people felt that Srinivas Goud’s statements were baseless and that all pilgrims are treated equally at TTD. They believe that TTD is being properly revamped after its neglect under YCP’s rule and that there is no need for BRS to make such baseless accusations.
Also, TTD has recently banned delivering political statements in Tirumala. As Srinivas Reddy breached the rule, it has to be seen if any action would be taken against him.
