Allu Arjun’s mass entertainer is going strong at the box office with over 1000 crores net collection worldwide. The film is set to become the highest-grossing film in history and with the pace it is moving forward, that might just happen.
The Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna starrer has taken the box office by storm since its release. Comparing the collections of the Hindi version of the film to the first part, however, generates an interesting fact.

2021 saw the Hindi dubbed version of Pushpa: The Rise which had an overall budget of 20 crores for the Hindi version. The action entertainer then collected 106 crores at the Hindi box office having a return on investment of 86 crores.
The profit percentage for the first part was 430% in its lifetime given the small budget invested and the huge returns it got. Talking about the second installment which has made over 450 crores at the box office.

The rumored budget for the Hindi version is around 200 crores which means the film has more than 250 crores of return on investment. The profit percentage for Pushpa 2 is currently around 120% which is extremely commendable.
However, to surpass the first part of the film in terms of profit percentage, Pushpa 2 needs to earn a minimum of 1060 crores at the box office to do the unthinkable.

What makes the first part a bigger success is the initial budget it was projected on. Given the amount of craze and support Pushpa 2 is getting from the audiences, the 1000 crore mark in Hindi might sound impossible, but who knows if the film has the potential to create history and do the unthinkable?
