The movie is about rescuing Santa )played by J. K. Simmons) who was kidnapped from the North Pole.

Coming from the makers of Jumanji: The Next Level, you’d think this Christmas action film would be the best Christmas film this year right?

Well, looks like you are ho-ho-horribly wrong.

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and Lucy Liu, the film lacks a basic premise altogether. In its attempt to achieve something different and adventurous, the film lost the Christmas spirit on the way.

In an attempt to save Christmas, they might have just ruined it for some.

While the film lacks chemistry between the two protagonists, it also seems rushed. It is clear that the film wasn’t brainstormed enough and lacked a unique selling point.

Even for an easygoing, non-sensical Christmas film, it lacked a lot of sense as well as Christmas.

The film is only appealable because it is released around the time of Christmas. If that aspect is forgotten, the film falls short of delivering.

Dwane Johnson was only punching enemies and Chris Evans was seen having fun, delivering a decent performance. The most shocking thing was seeing an actor like J. K. Simmons being wasted.

He played Santa, that too a very dull one with very little conversation.

This Marvel-level action-comedy plans to make its own multiverse of fictional characters for Christmas, but looking at the performance of this film, we might expect it to make it on Santa’s level four naughty list.
