The Lion King Face Pushpa 2 Box Ofiice Storm?

Mufasa: The Lion King is ready to hit the big screen on December 20, 2024. As the release date approaches closer, early reviews are now coming out from the Hollywood audience, with most of them being positive.

People have specifically praised the CGI, with one of them stating that the third act of the film is something that should not be missed at all.

There has been additional praise for the humor and music. But on the other hand, a handful of people are not satisfied with the story.

Mufasa: The Lion King is also getting a grand release in India. The reason is the popularity of the first part, which grossed almost Rs. 200 crores, and Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan gave their voices.

Notably, the upcoming sequel marks the debut of SRK’s second son AbRam, who is voicing young Mufasa. The Hindi version also might take a decent opening.

Popular faces like Mahesh Babu and Brahmanandam have voiced different characters in the Telugu version.

However, there is a big hurdle for the film when it comes to the box office potential outside Hollywood.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has already created some amazing records and audiences are not interested in any other films considering the hype created by Allu Arjun’s film.

It remains to be seen if positive word-of-mouth can change the focus of the viewers towards Mufasa. It is not an impossible task considering that there are nine days left.

The situation might change since the 3D version of Pushpa arrives next week.

Mufasa will earn huge profits if Pushpa’s 3D version does not get much popularity compared to 2D. But in case the 3D version leaves an impression, Mufasa will face heavy losses.
