In a recent interview, the blockbuster film Stree 2’s director Amar Kaushik talked about his wish to direct Shah Rukh Khan in a Baadshah-type parody film.

After Stree 2 which collected Rs 600 crores net at the Indian box office, the director wishes to go bigger and include Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in this dream project.
During the interview, he revealed that he wanted to make a mythological film with Hrithik Roshan and direct another rom-com like Chennai Express with Deepika Padukone. He would also direct Akshay Kumar in an action comedy.

Coming to King Khan, he said he would love to direct him in a spoof-like genre that is also larger than life and has a bit of adventure.
In the same interview, directors Anees Bazmee, Vikas Bahl, and Aditya Sarpotdar talked about what type of films they would make with the actors of their choice.
Bazmee, who directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, talked about making a comedy with Akshay Kumar, a romantic film with Katrina Kaif and an action film with Viky Kaushal. He also added how he could cast Salman Khan in any genre, be it action, romantic or comedy.
Munjya’s Aditya Sarpotdar when asked what type of film he would like to make with SRK, answered that he could be directed in any genre of films. As for Varun Dhawan, he would direct him in a comedy as he liked his comedic timing and humour.
He would also like to cast Ranbir Kapoor in an action film and Kiara in a horror drama.
Vikas Bahl, after his film Shaitaan, chose Amir Khan to make another comedy like Andaaz Apna Apna, and Salman in a comedy as well.
Appreciating Alia’s Gully Boy performance, he says he would direct her in a film where her capabilities as an actor could be highlighted better. He also talked about casting Akshay Kumar in a straight-face comedy.
