Kareena Kapoor was recently seen at a roundtable discussion with famous Bollywood names like Shabana Azmi, Vicky Kaushal, and Rajkumar Rao. She opened up on Laal Singh Chaddha and how it is a well cherished film for her despite the box office failure.
Kareena stated that they made Laal Singh Chaddha with all their heart and didn’t have commercial success in their mind. But when the film didn’t work out, Aamir Khan felt like he owed it to everyone for the failure.

She added that this film was more valuable to her than any number of Singhams. Rupa’s character has deeply resonated with her.
They went through a lot of trouble in making the film and it makes it all the more valuable. She opened up about COVID and her pregnancy in between the shooting.

But overall she feels immense respect for Aamir because he understood her and gave her ample comfort to pursue the project without any issues. For fans it is truly commendable how Kareena values the character over hit or flop.
