Alia Bhatt’s Jigra failed to impress the audience and leave an impact at the box office despite being released on a festive season. The action-thriller is currently streaming on Netflix and the reviews are out now.
The initial reactions at the time stated that the film was boring and the same is being claimed by all those who have now seen it on OTT. It is clear that audiences were expecting something better considering the past work of Vasan Bala.

However, the one thing that has been praised is the performances of the lead cast members. But it is Alia Bhatt who has taken the spotlight and the others have not got a lot to do in the film.

Coming to the negative parts, the prison break scene has been criticized for being illogical and inconvenient. Social media users even claimed that the climax was stretched without any reason.
A major problem of the film is that audiences have failed to make an emotional connection with the story considering the main theme, with the story focusing on the bond of a brother and sister.

Usually, OTT releases witness a better response compared to the reactions at the theaters. However, things have turned out to be different this time.
Jigra has once again proved that directors need to make films based on the requirements of audiences of all age groups instead of focusing on a particular section.
