The team of Pushpa 2 had a Press Meet in Hyderabad to celebrate the commercial success of the film.
In his speech, Allu Arjun ended up the controversy around him versus Mega/Pawan Kalyan.

He thanked both the Governments for giving hiked rates for his films. Mentioning about Pawan Kalyan, he said, “Thank you, Babai. I’m really touched by your gesture.”
If one observes, he mentioned Pawan Kalyan’s name three times back to back.

The first two times, he called as ‘Shri Pawan Kalyan Garu’ and there was big response from the crowd presence there.
Encouraged by the response, probably, he thought it is good time to move on from the issue and addressed Pawan Kalyan as ‘Babai’ and this time the cheer is even louder.

Earlier there were negative comments when Allu Arjun wrote ‘Shri Pawan Kalyan Garu’ on X.
Its been a long time since Allu Arjun mentioned Pawan Kalyan’s name in a Public event.
Allu Arjun already made a statement to his naysayers with Pushpa 2 collections thanks to the patronage of the Hindi audience. Probably, he thought it is unnecessary to carry the baggage further.
Meanwhile, there are many assumptions that the controversy may have dented some collections for the film in Andhra especially the Godavari districts. There are signs of impact definitely.
But the Price Hike is also an issue for Telugu audience. So, it is difficult to quantify how much impact the controversy had on the collections.
