Vasireddy Padma has been a loyalist of Jagan for many years. She was in PRP previously and later joined the YSR Congress.
She was the party’s Spokesperson until 2019 and later after coming to power, Jagan made her AP Women Commission Chairperson.

Even in a responsible position, Padma did the best service to Jagan Mohan Reddy. Like many leaders, she resigned from the party after the defeat and made some harsh comments about Jagan.
Padma met Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni in Vijayawada and it is more or less confirmed that she will be joining TDP.

Padma also confirmed that to media. This joining will not go well with the TDP ranks and file.
Leaders like Padma will add no value. Moreover the trash she churned out in the name of loyalty to YSR Congress is unforgettable for the TDP cadre.

She is someone who served notice to Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan as the Women Commission Chairperson.
She also turned a blind-eye to many atrocities on women committed by YSR Congress leaders.
Sleaze Phone Calls, Vulgar Video Calls, and similar nonsense of many famous leaders surfaced when she was the Chairperson. But she did nothing.
She is that kind of leader who can not even influence the votes in her family. In any way, taking her into the party is a wrong decision and the party high command should reconsider the decision.
