However, during the movie’s premieres in Hyderabad, a special screening at Sandhya Theatre led to a stampede and a woman’s death. Many pointed fingers at Allu Arjun for various reasons.

Firstly, for attending a fan show as a big star, with the film’s hype, there were criticisms about his concern for fan safety.
Secondly, his delayed response also invited criticism. During the success meet, Allu Arjun addressed these issues. He said that after learning about the woman’s death, they were in shock. It took time to process and speak about it.

Allu Arjun also announced 25 lakhs as financial support for the family. He mentioned that he would meet the family once they stabilized.

Another criticism Allu Arjun faced was completing the Pushpa 2 screening despite knowing about the woman’s death.
He clarified that he did not complete the film and left the theatre in shock..
He addressed all the criticisms related to the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. Director Sukumar also expressed his unhappiness over the last few days. He said he can make a film in three or six years, but he cannot bring back a life.
