Actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently took the internet by surprise, as she revealed that she once had a massive crush on Jimmy Shergill, her 20 years senior.
In an interview promoting her latest Netflix film ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’, she confessed to having a ‘crush moment’ after watching Jimmy in Mohabbatein.
She acknowledged her feelings gracefully, further saying, “At one point, everyone had a crush on him.”
‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’ marked the first time Tamannaah finally got to meet Jimmy. She said that her nervousness led to initial awkwardness as she was unable to reply to his ‘hello’ for a whole day!
She praised the Mohabbatein sensation for being ‘versatile’, stating that he was a rare talent in the industry.
‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’ is a heist-thriller released on Netflix, starring Jimmy Shergill, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Avinash Tiwary.
While the film has received poor reviews, it seems to be doing well owing to the brand of director Neeraj Pandey.
Critics have pointed out several flaws in the screenplay, including the poorly written underdeveloped character of Tamannaah.

Social media was quick to react to Tamannaah’s confession. One user said, “Relatable! Who wouldn’t crush on Jimmy Shergill?”
Another expressed his disapproval of the film as he wrote, “Tamannaah’s honesty is refreshing, but she deserved a better-written role in the film.”
