The recent case of Uttrakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is raising quite a few eyebrows across the internet. The head of the state came for an inaugural ceremony of the upcoming Vikrant Massey film, “Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan,” in which he will be seen opposite Shanaya Kapoor.
It is quite a quirky movie casting, pitting Vikrant Massey, who is one of the poster boys of the “anti-nepo movement in Bollywood, and Shanaya Kapoor, a definite Nepo baby. However, the star of the ceremony was, of course, the honorable CM of Uttarakhand.

Makes us wonder if the Chief Minister gets enough time from his legislative duties to attend such events. The development of art and the movie industry is indeed a necessary part of any state’s vision. Still, a chief minister’s presence is a bit too much for a film inaugural.
