Pepper Spray Attack Halts Pushpa 2 The Rule Screening

We often see some people showing wild antics in theatres, causing inconvenience to others. From performing aarti on the screen to lighting firecrackers and even breaking furniture in excitement, such incidents have been reported in theatres nationwide.

In the latest incident at Gaiety Galaxy Theatre in Mumbai, the screening of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule was halted when a few individuals used pepper spray in the auditorium.

According to reports, there was a chaotic environment in the auditorium after the interval when pepper spray was allegedly sprayed by an unidentified individual. People started coughing repeatedly, and the show was eventually stopped for about 20 minutes.

A few people also complained of throat irritation and nausea. Few others said that they struggled to breathe. The visuals of the theatre during the incident are now going viral on social media.

The theatre authorities immediately stopped the screening after receiving complaints and reported the matter to the police for further investigation.

On the other hand, Pushpa 2 is having a sensational run at the box office. It emerged as the highest opening day grosser among Indian films, surpassing SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
