Telugu Desam Party Membership Drive is currently going on. There are fourteen constituencies in Nellore and Rayalaseema in the Top 20 constituencies with Highest Membership.

But from Srikakulam to Prakasam, there are only six. That means the some leaders in these districts are completely slow.
Telugu Desam Party membership costs 100 Rupees. It comes with an eligibility for a health insurance cover up to Rs 5 lakh.

The Health Insurance is a good initiative to help the cadre. In the last five years, the cadre was helped to the tune of 135 Crores.
This is the biggest help the party can do to the family if something unfortunate to the head of the family. When a family is helped by the party via this insurance, it will have a positive impact on their family and neighbourhood.

That will be a huge political return for the party.
But then, most of the party cadres are of very poor economical status. Many even hesitate to pay that 100 Rupees Membership fees.
Hence, the party leaders especially the MLAs, MPs, and the Incharges should bear the expense themselves and pay the membership fees.
That is the only way you repay the party workers who work selflessly for the leaders and the party.
But most leaders seem to be selfish and are not even ready to spend this small amount for the cadres.
It is pathetic that the leaders who completely used the services of the cadre to win in the recent elections are behaving so Kanjoos.
TDP won with a sensational majority in recent times and many leaders won with a mindboggling majorities. This victory is completely the cadre’s. Most TDP leaders were inactive for 3-4 years fearing Political Vendetta by Jagan Mohan Reddy after the 2019 elections.
It was the cadre who shouldered the TDP flag. The cadre got polarized during Yuvagalam Padayatra and Chandrababu’s arrest bringing momentum to the party.
It is a shame that leaders neglect the cadre. TDP is the party of cadres. The party high command does so much for the cadres and the leaders should take the same path. There are no two ways about it. The party high command should reprimand such leaders.
