Allu Arjun Avoids ‘Mega’ Mention

Allu Arjun Avoids ‘Mega’ Mention

The pre-release event for Pushpa 2 is over, and Allu Arjun has done an exceptional job promoting the film single-handedly.

At every promotional event so far—whether in Patna, Chennai, Kochi, or Hyderabad—Allu Arjun has lifted the film’s spirit and pushed it as much as possible. He set an example of how a pan-India hero should elevate promotions to the next level.

Sukumar, who had been swamped with the final edits of the film, finally appeared at the pre-release event in Hyderabad. However, he kept his speech brief.

Meanwhile, there is an ongoing fan war between Allu Arjun’s fans and Mega fans. A section of Mega fans has even threatened to boycott Pushpa 2 because Allu Arjun has been promoting his fanbase, “Allu Army.”

These fans were expecting Allu Arjun to address the issue or make amends during the event.

To their disappointment, Allu Arjun did not attempt any reconciliation.

Instead, he once again mentioned and applauded his fanbase, Allu Army, on stage.

He avoided mentioning any Mega heroes, such as Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, or Ram Charan. While the occasion did not require such mentions, Mega fans believe there is no “right occasion” when tensions are high.

Some fans felt Allu Arjun could have taken the opportunity to thank these figures, considering it was a significant event for a major film. However, that didn’t happen. Interestingly, Allu Arjun mentioned RRR but only referred to Rajamouli, omitting the names of Ram Charan and NTR.

For those expecting Allu Arjun to extend an olive branch to Mega fans, the event offered no such gesture. With the pre-release event concluded, Allu Arjun seems confident that Pushpa 2 will perform exceptionally well.

At this stage, it appears he is focused entirely on the film’s success. His message to fans seems clear: those who wish to enjoy Pushpa Raj on the big screen should do so, while fan wars can take a back seat.
