Devi Sri Prasad seems to have been going through a tough phase in the last few weeks due to the Pushpa 2 BGM issue.
His speech at the pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday evening appeared gracious, but a closer look revealed undercurrents of dissatisfaction and unhappiness.

During the event, DSP expressed gratitude to Sukumar, the producers at Mythri Movie Makers, lyricist Chandrabose, and actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
However, when anchor Suma humorously asked what he would want from Allu Arjun or Rashmika, his response stood out.

DSP who has made some controversial statements in past events, took a lighter tone this time. He tried to maintain a jovial mood during the conversation. He said, “ఎవరి దగ్గరి నుంచీ ఏదీ అడిగి తీసుకోలేం… మనకి సంబంధించింది మాత్రమే మనం తీసుకోగలం.” (We cannot ask or take anything from anyone; we can only take what belongs to us).
There still seemed a bit of dissatisfaction in DSP’s words. It looked like he was still hurt with the way things panned out for him for Pushpa 2 in the last few weeks.

At the Chennai event for Pushpa 2: The Rule, DSP criticized the producers. He alleged they held him accountable for delays in delivering the film’s songs and background score.
DSP’s contributions to Pushpa have been monumental. The songs from the first installment achieved iconic status. Fans are hopeful that the sequel will replicate that success and any behind-the-scenes friction will not impact the film’s final output.
