Sikandar Ka Muqaddar was seen as a great opportunity for Jimmy Shergill to make his much-awaited comeback in the realm of the entertainment industry. His fans and supporters expected huge things from this upcoming OTT film helmed by Neeraj Pandey.
Assembling a strong cast wasn’t enough for the film as it has been getting underwhelming reviews since its arrival on Netflix. Alongside Jimmy Shergill, the film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, Ashrut Jain, and Divya Dutta making an exceptional cast.

The plot of the film revolves around Jimmy Shergill, who plays a cop in the film and is given a case of robbery. He handpicks his suspects and the film revolves around the suspenseful play of characters adding up to the ultimate climax.
Neeraj Pandey once again portrays his signature style of depicting surprises throughout the film but came up short this time. Despite having a good plot, the film lacks cinematography and has certain loose ends throughout its execution.

Users and critics have pointed out how the runtime of the film also impacted its overall performance and how it should have been decreased given the plot and story. While Jimmy Shergill has delivered a great performance as always, everything didn’t seem to be on point for the makers.
