In a recent interview, actress Tamannaah Bhatia revealed that she found herself at a crossroads after the massive success of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’.
Tamannaah reflected on the challenge of doing a film as groundbreaking as Baahubali, including the problems it created for her afterwards.

She said, “How do you do something bigger than ‘Baahubali’? What should I do next? Do I do something bigger? Or do I reinvent?”
The massive success so early on in her career in South cinema left her clueless as to what she should do next. She was conflicted between trying to repeat the same success formula or reinventing something completely different.

Recounting her earlier days in South Indian cinema, the actress shared that she was acting in some of the earlier films without even knowing the regional languages.
She said that it was her biggest learning yet which has now made her fluent in both Tamil and Telugu.

Tamannaah’s quest to move ahead from the ‘girl next door’ image, along with her desire for challenging roles led her to Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’, the Netflix heist thriller released on November 29, 2024.
Social media has been filled with reactions ever since her statements came to light. One user praised her as he said, “Tamannaah is the only actress who is currently killing it both in movies and on OTT.”
