The calculations for the three Rajya Sabha seats that will go to elections in Andhra Pradesh are quickly changing. It is emerging that the prime agenda of Pawan Kalyan‘s Delhi tour is to secure a seat for his brother Naga Babu.
In the recently concluded general elections, Naga Babu was supposed to contest from the Anakapalli Parliament. He made all arrangements and even shifted to Anakapalli for a few days. But at the last minute, there were some seat arrangement issues in the alliance. Naga Babu had to sacrifice the seat for the BJP. And the Saffron Party fielded CM Ramesh from the seat.

Coming to present three Rajya Sabha seats have fallen vacant and going for by-election. These three vacancies are due to the resignation of the sitting YSR Congress MPs. According to the reports, TDP is going to get two of these and BJP wants one.
But then Pawan Kalyan entered the game and is seeking the third seat for his brother, Naga Babu. News Reports say that BJP High command also agreed to this. The TDP supporters who are reluctant to part with a seat for BJP are okay to some extent to share one with Janasena in the worst case.

Varma was the in-charge of TDP in Pitapuram. At the last minute, Pawan Kalyan chose to contest from Pitapuram and Varma had to sacrifice. Back then, the YSR Congress gave its hundred percent to defeat Pawan Kalyan from Pitapuram.
Varma also worked really hard to make Pawan Kalyan win and Pawan Kalyan won with a record Majority. Back then Varma was promised day significant position for his sacrifice. However, he was not given any opportunities so far.
The other day, Varma met Minister Lokesh and probably sought a Rajya Sabha chance.
Ever since the election, Varma has been facing problems in his own constituency due to other Janasena leaders. At one point, there were rumors that Chandrababu Naidu also agreed to sacrifice Varma so that there would be no two power centers in Pitapuram.
We will have to see if Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu will ensure justice for Varma.
The By-elections will happen on December 20th. YSR Congress MPs Mopidevi, Beeda Masthan Rao, and R Krishnaiah have resigned to bring the by-elections.
All three seats will become unanimous in favor of the Ruling Side since the YSR Congress had just eleven seats in the Assembly.
Reports are that Beeda will be renominated once again from TDP.
