Now, one of the most popular cricketers, David Warner from Australia, went unsold in the recent IPL auction. The former Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad captain wasn’t able to find any bidders. Warner’s base price of INR 2 crore was very low, yet no franchise bought him.
Coming to the Rajamouli curse, David Warner also teamed up with Rajamouli in one of the ads in April 2024. In this ad, Warner is seen tricking Rajamouli into casting him in a Baahubali-style film. What followed next was hilarious. The ad was loved by the audience.

Cut to November 2024, and David Warner goes unsold in the IPL. Despite being one of the legends of IPL cricket, he went unsold. People on social media are hilariously linking this to the curse of working with SS Rajamouli.
It can also be recalled that David Warner played a significant role in making Pushpa popular in reel culture. A lot of the attention that Pushpa enjoyed was partly due to Warner imitating Allu Arjun’s steps.
