Nayanthara’s recent Netflix documentary ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale’ seems to be doing pretty well for itself despite getting some negative reviews.
The documentary has topped the Netflix Top 10 Films chart in India, Sri Lanka, and the UAE for the week ending November 24. It has achieved this milestone despite many reviewers calling it a ‘bland montage’.

The ongoing dispute between Nayanthara and Dhanush seems to have played a major role in the skyrocketed popularity of her documentary.
The dispute originated from the unauthorized use of a 3-second clip from Dhanush’s 2015 film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ in the documentary, leading to a 10Cr. copyright-infringement notice from Dhanush.

But it seems to have badly backfired for Dhanush, as Nayanthara is getting all the benefit from the buzz. Her documentary is reaching heights it would never otherwise, as more people watch it to know about the whole issue.
