Pushpa 2 has become a hot topic for its background score. Initially, Devi Sri Prasad was onboard for the entire score, but there were reports that Allu Arjun and Sukumar were not completely satisfied with his work on the final cut.
This led to the involvement of three music directors: Thaman, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Sam CS, each handling different segments of the film.

Interestingly, Thaman reportedly completed his part within just 15 days, focusing primarily on the first half. Meanwhile, Ajaneesh Loknath and Sam CS are said to have worked on the second half.
Sam CS’s latest tweet showcasing a shot from the Jathara sequence hints that he has scored the BGM for that much-hyped episode.

In the first teaser, the Jathara episode was highlighted, and it was revealed that Devi Sri Prasad had composed the music for that segment, which received a positive response.
However, after Sam CS’s tweet, it is uncertain whether DSP’s score will remain in the final cut or if it has been replaced. This development could upset Devi Sri Prasad, who is already said to be unhappy with Sukumar and the team.

Fans fear that the background score may lack uniformity. They worry it could turn into a mishmash of different sounds, lacking proper flow and connection.
Sam Cs’s last film was Kiran Abbavaram’s KA, where his background score was widely appreciated as an asset.
Pushpa 2 could be his stepping stone to bigger projects. However, with three composers involved, he might not get much individual recognition.
It is also unlikely that the makers will officially reveal which composer worked on which segment of the film.
