Elon Musk is the closest we can ever get to a real-life Tony Stark. No wonder The MultiBillionaire was the influence behind the on-screen snarky portrayal of Iron Man. Elon even had a cameo in Iron Man 2, but it seems like he wants to be the armored avenger himself.
The billionaire’s Twitter posts always manage to stir up conversation. This time it’s his look as Iron Man. The photo showcases Elon in a suit of armor, much like Tony Stark’s version from the first Avengers movie. The red and gold suit is making everyone turn their eyes towards Elon as his caption has stirred up a series of chuckles all around the internet.

Elon has proclaimed himself to be “Irony Man,” making a clever pun on Marvel’s intellectual property. Now that we are in the multiverse Saga in the MCU, maybe we can see this new variant of Tony Stark in the movies too. It will be hysterical to see the mask pull back to reveal Elon’s face behind it.
The multibillionaire is known for his own brand of erratic humor and snarky ego. His endeavors, whether it be Tesla or SpaceX, are making enough revenue that if Musk someday decides that he wants to be Iron Man, it will just be an engineering problem. And while the stark tech is still decades ahead of us, the ambition of Elon Musk knows no bounds.
