Donald Trump’s new department led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy has started their aggressive approach to cut off excessive federal spending from the government. This will involve massive downsizing and restructuring of major agencies.
Ramaswamy, the Indian-American Republican leader, emphasized their mission of mass deportation of unelected bureaucrats. This includes drastic steps of eliminating agencies like the FBI and FDA, affecting nearly 1.5 million jobs.

Notably, the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is the brainchild of Musk, who was the biggest Trump supporter during his campaign. It was conceived as a cost-cutting commission and will likely suggest more cuts to the federal departments.
Trump has already announced scrapping the Department of Education, giving states full control over schooling. He has made it clear that he is wasting no time to carry out his vision as his peers have plans put in place even before the official swearing-in.
