Former NBA star – and Slam Dunk champion – Desmond Mason jailed in Oklahoma amid ugly divorce from ex-wife

Former NBA player Desmond Mason was jailed in Oklahoma on Wednesday. 

He was arrested on a charge of contempt of court just before midday. He was released later that night – at 9:34pm – on a $50,000 bond.

Mason, 47, was taken in the first round of the 2000 NBA Draft, winning the Slam Dunk Contest a year later.
