Footy’s human headline Jack Ginnivan has taken his relationship with model Lily Mitchell up a notch by holidaying with her in Hawaii after going public with his stunning new girlfriend at the 2024 Brownlow Medal ceremony.

The 21-year-old has been a controversy magnet since his AFL debut with Collingwood, before switching to Hawthorn this season and aggravating Port Adelaide fans with a shocking social media barb.

Ginnivan hard-launched his romance with Mitchell in September, turning heads on the red carpet at the AFL’s night of nights.

Since then he has been travelling in the US, posting regular updates to social media showing him enjoying NFL and NBA games.

Over the weekend, Ginnivan revealed that he is now in Hawaii – and he’s travelling with Mitchell.

The AFL star posted shots of the couple shopping, enjoying tropical food and sightseeing.

Mitchell has also posted shots from the holiday with Ginnivan, posting the words ‘birthday eve’ accompanied by a love-heart emoji on one picture.

While the couple’s exact dating timeline remains under wraps, their chemistry together is undeniable.

Ginnivan is one of several stars enjoying a vacation following the end of the AFL season, with multiple other players flying abroad to enjoy the off-season.

The forward, who joined Hawthorn from Collingwood last season, enjoyed a solid debut season with the Hawks, featuring in 23 games and kicking 28 goals as the team stormed into the finals.

It comes after he and fellow Hawks star Nick Watson were criticised after they failed to show up at a scheduled kids’ footy training session following the Hawk’s end-of-season function.

One parent said her child was left ‘heartbroken’ after the pair did not turn up to the footy clinic.

Hawthorn boss Rob McCartney told Trade Radio: ‘Importantly, what has happened after this disappointment is that both the boys – and their management who have been dealing with this – have acknowledged that to try and repair some of the disappointment, they will inform those kids that they’re going to run another clinic on another date.’

McCartney also added: ‘The second part I want to say is that while their not being there is a reflection on that day, what I will say is that both these boys give a lot of time to kids, to supporters and fans throughout the entire journey. We just need to get the balance right.

‘They might not have delivered on this day for those kids, but they do deliver on a regular basis. They are two players who actually give more than most.’
