IND vs NZ, 1st T20I Highlights: Washington Sundar’s late heroics were in vain as India lost by 21 runs against New Zealand in the first T20I encounter in Ranchi. Michael Bracewell, Lockie Ferguson and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each to put New Zealand in a commanding position. Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya steadied the innings for India before departing in quick succession. Earlier, Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi were dismissed cheaply. Daryl Mitchell and Devon Conway slammed fifties to power New Zealand to 176/6 in the first T20I against India at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Mitchell hit an unbeaten 59, while Conway slammed his ninth half-century before being dismissed on 52.
